BIO
InĀ 1978, only days after the USSR launched nuclear powered Kosmos 1000 navigational satellite, Poland responded by launching the chocolate fueled Maciej Roszkowski in Gdansk at the southern shores of the Baltic Sea. Maciej grew up in Poland and Germany, dazzling his teachers with unconventional art projects that proved a big hit at parent-teacher nights.
In the early 1990′s he arrived in Canada and pursued Computer science at Trent University. Realizing that he rather have the machine work for him, rather than working on the machine, Maciej transferred to Ryerson University into the New Media and Photography fields. Upon discovering the stylus and realizing the creative freedom that it offered over the electronic rodent, Maciej focused on image manipulation, ranging from the totally abstract to the glitz and glamour of advertising. In 2002 Maciej joined Sugino Studio in the role of Senior Digital Artist working on both the stills and motion side of the operation.
